About
The main topic of the podcast:
Teaching important Saudi culture and some Arabic words and dialogs for future American workers who are going to work for Aramco, the worlds largest oil company.
The learning goals:
- Preparing American workers for Saudi life and culture.
- Helping the new workers adjust to the new life.
- Teaching basic Arabic words for daily life.
Why podcasting?
New workers do not have enough time to attend face to face classes for learning Saudi culture and important Arabic dialogs. Instead, they can listen to the podcast on their way to work, in the airport, and in the plane as they head to Saudi. Indeed, the most important aspect in learning a new language is listening to it several times. Therefore, using podcasting in optimal for my learning goals.
